Your Role
To reinforce our R&D team in Ghent, Belgium, we are looking for a talented systems engineer with a hands-on attitude, a passion for innovation, and a strong desire to contribute to Axithra’s development, including the creation of setups and prototypes. Your role in our pioneering therapeutic drug monitoring (TDM) solution:
- Design, develop, and test electronic systems and components
- Assist in the development of embedded software for electronic systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electronic systems into larger product designs
- Contribute to the development of prototypes and setups, ensuring they meet project requirements and quality standards
- Utilize Python for various tasks such as automation, data analysis and control.
- Generate and maintain quality documents, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Job Requirements
- Master’s degree in electronic engineering, systems engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the industry, preferably in a hands-on role
- Proficiency in Python programming
- Experience with embedded software development is highly desirable
- Familiarity with quality documentation and standards
- Experience with in vitro diagnostic device development (ISO13485) and software for medical devices (IEC62304) is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork abilities.
- You are proactive and a problem solver
- You are a team player and work effectively in a multidisciplinary, multinational team, able to communicate fluently in English
